I have an hour to an hour and 15 minute commute to and from work every day. Initially I thought this would be something I would get tired of real quick, but instead I found myself enjoying the quite time alone. In addition to that, I got to enjoy the changing views with each season. My drive mainly consists of fields, farming, and agriculture. This includes orchards, vineyards, and even oil field. So I am always inspired by the colors, the textures, the lines, and the reflections in the water.
I usually capture what I see beautiful and aesthetically pleasing on my phone and sometimes Ill bring my Canon 7D. I would either set it on the dash board and record or make stops on the side of the road to take photos. But one day, after lots of rain, I thought I should definitely go out and film something because I knew the ground would be green and the sky would be crystal clear – I was right! I also knew I had to act quick because our smog is so bad that in a few days the sky will turn grey and eventually mask the beauty of it all.
Soo, I texted two friends of mine from high school – Candy and Veronica. Candy I hadn’t seen since we graduated almost 10 years ago (I know..) but with social media we always kept in touch and always planned to work on something together since she worked in creative directing in Los Angeles for a few years.Veronica I hadn’t seen in years except when I shot her pregnancy photos about 6 years ago.
Ok enough talking, enjoy some photos I took and the video below!
